Epoch was a project created for three hypothetical shows at Bats Theatre in Wellington Central. The shows were to celebrate the musical works of Warren Maxwell, a Massey Alumni and once lead vocalist for the music group Trinity Roots.

Working in a team of two with another designer — Jack Read — we had to select three of his songs which would be the title for the theatre shows. The outputs were a webpage for ticket purchase facilitation and posters plus a video for promotional purposes.

Listening to his music, we interpreted these hypothetical shows having a story about the human evolution and the flaws of humanity. Epoch was created with a grungy and rough aesthetic, playing with paper cutouts and stop motion.
